The Automotive Tire and Wheel Service training program is owned by WheelSafe Canada Inc.

The mission of the ATWS training program is to promote workplace and highway safety.
The content of this training manual is designed to:
1. Impart foundational knowledge on the following topics:
• Risks and hazards that may be encountered when servicing tires and wheels.
• Tire, wheel and rim design, construction.
• Tire types, sizing, rating, and marking.
• Wheel fastening methods and fastener tightening.
• Tire application and selection.
• Tire inflation and TPMS.
• Industry standards, guidelines, and resources.
• Vehicle liting methods and equipment.

2. Develop applied skills for completing the following tasks:
• Analyze tire conditions.
• Select vehicle tires.
• Lift vehicles.
• Demount and mount tires.
• Balance tires.
• Install wheels and rims.
• Service TPMS
